Devoted to Helping Couples on Their Journey to Parenthood
The pressure to conceive can be immense and can become ‘all-consuming’ for those involved with every waking moment centred around getting pregnant. Relationships can become strained, sometimes to breaking point with physical, emotional and mental health and well-being suffering. Unfortunately, these factors can in turn dramatically affect the chances of conceiving, making the whole conception experience a vicious cycle.
As a trained reflexologist with a practice based in Hampshire, I became aware of the struggles couples were facing and in 2012 undertook specific reproductive reflexology training under the guidance of Barbara Scott, a world renowned specialist and author in the treatment of infertility, particularly for couples undergoing assisted fertility treatments such as IUI and IVF/ ICSI.
What many couples are not aware of is that lifestyle, nutrition and medical history all have a huge part to play when it comes to successful reproduction. During the initial consultation, all of these elements will be discussed and a bespoke treatment plan, often for both partners, will be devised.
As I am incredibly keen to ensure that all of my clients feel supported during their journey, referrals to other specialists within my network may also be given. Through specialist reproductive reflexology, I aim to not only physically help my clients with their infertility but also emotionally support clients through the holistic world of reflexology, enhancing the chances of getting pregnant.
Feet in Fleet Fertility offers daytime, evening and weekend appointments to suit you.
If the male partner has known issues which may be affecting their ability to conceive, he too will benefit from regular reflexology.
At all times, I will support, explain and encourage ….and be honest with you both! Success comes from us working together as a team.
This may seem a huge commitment financially and time wise, but I sincerely believe that this is the best method to create the conditions required to promote conception and a healthy baby. There are no guarantees of course but reflexology helps fill in the gaps that the NHS neither has the time nor the resources to deliver. And the best news is that reflexology is a completely natural and relaxing therapy.
